Happy Friday! Today is part two of mixing prints on Plus Size Beausion. Last Monday, we took it on the light side. This week, we aren’t holding back! Today, we get to back into time and feature some mixed print flair with JD Williams!
One of my favorite prints to play with is stripes. Whether they are geometric or flat out crazy, they provide the loudest neutrality when it comes to a great outfit. For example, this Long Sleeve Stripe Shirt is a great staple for mixing prints. You can go thunderous with it or bring down a notch. Today, I decided to use it as a neutral and let my Faux Fur Gilet do all the talking. Unlike most fur vests, this has hooks in the middle so if you want to close it; you can!
Also, patchwork on jeans is one of my favorite trends. So if you feel like braving the waters, then make sure you try it out. Now, to complete my look I had to accessorize. Accessories are the butter of any look. You can accessorize upwards or downwards–it’s your call. Today, I decided to land something that said, “I’m a little bad and a little bougie.” A classic black face watch with a matching cuff gave it that bougie, but this Embossed Bowler Tote Bag GAVE IT ALL THE BAD IT NEEDED!!
Lastly, I tried something new. Heeled mules have been floating around and you know, I’m not even mad at it. Although these are sold out, I found another option that is just as nice!
