It’s been a while since I’ve done a group shot highlighting women in the City of Boston. Thanks to your feedback and model call, the overwhelming responses I received were:
- Different Body Types
- Various Ages
- Different Ethnicity
- Varying Style Preferences
At first, I thought this was a tall order. Me and my mother have two different body types and we are 25 years apart. So when I asked her which fashion posts she loved the most, she immediately said Metrostyle. She is a huge fan of a Chadwicks and also “borrowed” half of the items I showcased from my last post with Metrosyle. With that said, I decided to bring back some of the ladies from the previous shoots, and new women that I’ve met along the way. Today, we are highlighting items from Metrostyle’s fall drop! The sizes in this photoshoot range from 14-26. While I know it’s not completely inclusive, I have to say I am impressed by the diversity of sizes, shapes, colors, and personalities in this shoot! Without further adieu, here’s the shoot!

As you can see, we had a BALL on set and even learned a lot about each other. Actually, three of us are wearing the same size and probably can’t guess who? Let’s get into the individual looks.

And of course, we had to show y’all some great group shots we took. It was interesting to see how well the looks meshed together. From the boardroom to date night, Metrostyle has a lot of options.

A huge thank you to Metrostyle for providing the looks! AND TO THE MODELS– Y’ALL ROCK FOR REAL! This was a fun shoot and I loved our pow-wow about body image. It was empowering to say the least! Until next time!
Lord knows I admire you ladies. How your embrace your curves, because I struggle with this. I never seem to feel like I look good in anything that I wear. Maybe I need someone to help me see and learn what’s good for my body shape. I so wish I had the confidence and sense of style you ladies have. Bless you all!!!
I wished the ‘EveryBODY’ type was featured. Seems as though just body figures of what your platform stands for- BBW. Dont get me wrong, that is great, but dont label this project as ‘Everyday’ women body figures when it isnt truly embodied. Where is the skinny, medium build with curves, etc. Everyday equates to a full range.

Thanks for the comment. As you noted, I’ve decided to feature the body types, in which my platform promotes: Plus size women varying from size 12-26. Our body types aren’t represented in the mainstream, so my brand my choice to feature various body types within the plus-size realm, is entirely my choice. I can most certainly refer you to other influencers who reflect different body types, though. However, my blog, since its inception, has always been a space to highlight plus size women.
