The Fall Feels Lookbook

I can’t help but already want to get into Fall fashion. Brands are already putting their summer clothes on clearance and the trees in my backyard are turning color. To be honest, as a Fall Baby, I absolutely LIVE for this. However, if you ask me when’s the best time to start getting into Fall fashion, it’s right now. This is the time where you can use a few of your summer pieces and mix it into your fall look. Ulla Popken has already started ushering in their Fall pieces, but I thought it would be cool to add some of my summer accessories.

Blues with a Pop of Rainbow

From time to time, I find it hard to retire my accessories, no matter what season it is. When I saw this beautiful Long Mesh Layered Elastic Waist Polka Dot Skirt I knew this could be a Fall staple. You can wear it with a cami for the summer. A Blazer for the colder months. But, during these hot to cool nights, this Leaf Print Roll-Tab Sleeve Cotton Denim Shirt works! I love mixing prints so this is a win for me! Pairing the look with turquoise heels and a pop of rainbow really helped mesh the two seasons together.

Swing Dresses

For the longest, I’ve stayed away from Swing Dresses. I thought that they were mostly made for people who didn’t have lots of curves. Actually, I did try a Swing Dress once and it was tight around my hips and loose at the top. Since I am a size 22, there was no room to size up. But the Front Pleat Swing Hem Crepe Dress from Ulla Popken didn’t fail me. In fact, since Ulla Popken goes to size 34, I was able to size up to 26 and it had plenty of room! So why not belt it? Swing Dresses are also great for transitioning from Summer to Fall as well.

Okay Okay, Fall is Here!

And just to get a head start on Fall, I had to bring out a full Fall look. Please don’t get mad at me for rushing Fall, but hey, it’s coming! As soon as I saw the Reversible Doubleface Button Front Coat on Ulla Popken, I knew this would be perfect for the colder Fall days that require more than a jacket. Also, since it’s reversible, it makes that much better! Pairing it with a breathable top such as the Textured V-Neck Long Sleeve Blouse makes it a more dressy look. Lastly, y’all know how much I love plaid! Fall is the PRIME plaid time! It was only right that I wore the Plaid Bengaline Sarah Fit Stretch Pants. I would only size up once. I think I sized up twice, but I still loved the look nonetheless.
