Pantene Waterless Collection
If there’s anything I learned during these uncertain times, it’s that you have to be resourceful and creative. In the past, I was the girl who had standing weekly hair appointments. Today, I am the girl who explores the most cost-effective ways of taking care of her hair, all while not sacrificing quality. Also, as both of my careers are starting to soar, I have way less time to commit to 1-2 hour hair salon visits. I train at 7 am, I jump right into my 9-5, and then I dive into the world of digital content creation until 10 pm. Sometimes I have three photoshoots and video shoots in one week. So let’s be real, do I really have time to wash and dry my hair every week?
Thankfully I found a way to help keep my hair moisturized, refreshed, and cleaned in between washes. Pantene’s new Waterless Collection has been a game-changer for me. It allows me to retouch my twist outs, high buns, and without having to rewet my hair. Pantene’s Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam and Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist are a winning combo!
After a couple of days of a twist out, my hair can get awfully dry and flakey. Having low porosity isn’t the best, but having a product that whips my hair back to life in 60 seconds flat is always a win for me. After about 4 days, of one hairstyle, I go right into using Pantene’s Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam because it’s residue-free and waterless. This makes quick hairstyles so much easier. Also, it’s really good for removing greasiness without having to use sulfates. Natural hair THRIVES on sulfate-free products.
Want to know what is in it?
The non-drying, fast-absorbing, nourishing formula:
- It contains pro-vitamin B5 and orchid flower water in the foam, which works to release clumped hair.
- It contains tapioca from the cassava root to absorb excess oil from roots and scalp.
- It does not contain drying alcohols, sulfates, or parabens.
Right after using Pantene’s Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam, I go right into using Pantene’s Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist. When I tell you that it softens the texture of my curls, I AM NOT KIDDING! It is usually tough to detangle; however, adding the Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist makes the detangling process so much easier. Also, it’s made with pro-vitamin B5, omega-9, aloe, and jojoba oil. Typically, I would have to use different brands that contain each of these products– so again, another win! Lastly, it smells awesome!
By day 7, it’s typically time for me to do some digital content creation. After a week of personal training, meal prepping, 9-5 work, and more, my hair is in need of a refresh and new style for my photoshoots. With that, I typically turn to a twist out that’ll take 30 mins or less. After a light touch up with the Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam and Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist, Pantene’s Curl Affair Curl Reshaping Cream seals the deal for me. Adding a few drops of the cream to different sections of my hair, twisting it out, and letting it sit for 30 mins allows me to revive my hair back to some of my favorite photoshoot looks!
It feels really cool to find ONE BRAND that has it all. Also, as someone who has 4B hair texture, along with low porosity, I’m so happy to find a product that provides that extra boost of hydration and shine that my hair needs!
