In past posts, you may have seen my weight loss journey and some of the key components to losing weight. When Kohl’s emailed me about collaborating on a post, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to talk about plus size activewear.
One component that’s very important to me is to dress up and show out. It’s very important to look as good as I feel. It’s like a spirit booster. Unfortunately many brands carry lots of cute activewear but they aren’t functional for plus size women. Many times I will try on a pair of leggings and after three walk throughs, they are falling off.
Kohl’s carries activewear brands that are not only functional (breathable fabric, formidable seams, and reinforced elasticity) but suits my inner fashionista. Kohl’s has a vast selection of activewear for all sizes. One of the brands I’m most fond of is Tek Gear.
Tek Gear offers sturdy yet breathable activewear that truly conforms to your shape. I used to be the girl who thought leggings and an over-sized tee would do the trick. But, Tek Gear carries options for all comfort levels. It’s a new year, so why not try out some new activewear?
I love that Kohl’s activewear is carried online and in-store. No longer do you have to look online to get activewear, but you will find a wide variety of active wear in stores too. I found all of these at my local Kohl’s.
I truly tested the durability and flexibility of Tek Gear’s Workout Leggings. With every high knee I completed, I would constantly check to see if my leggings were sliding off. They didn’t even flinch! It’s very obvious that Tek Gear’s design was very performance-focused. Also, there is a definite improvement in the feel and fit from my usual, cheaper (quality) choices.

Lastly, I’ve been on the hunt to find a pair of sneakers that were not only chic, but had a high level of comfort.
