Happy Friday! It’s been pretty warm in Boston lately. Not warm enough to jump into Spring, but warm enough to add a few new pieces to my wardrobe. Insert Lane Bryant Fashion!
According to Vogue UK, trench coats, super-refined denim, and Buttery Soft Leather are the 2020 Spring trends. While a lot of what was on the runway was beautiful, it’s not usually wearable or sold in my size (even if I could afford it).
With that said, I had to jump into some of these trends because Lane Bryant is already ahead of the curve! First off, I wanted to get into some denim. If you’ve been following me for a while, you may have noticed that I am not BIG on wearing jumpsuits. It always takes a while to find the perfect one.
HOWEVER, when I saw LB‘s Button-Front Denim Jumpsuit, it was pretty much game over for me. If this statement jumpsuit isn’t the definition of super-refined denim, I don’t know what is! I paired the looked with these cute mules. They are uber comfortable, so we know this goes without saying –> but expect them in a few more posts lol. Also, I haven’t really been intentional about accessories, but I am now.
It’s been anywhere between 55-65 degrees lately. The trench provides enough coverage for those temperate days. I am wearing a size 22/24 int he trench coat. The mules were very comfortable and will easily transition into the summer. Transitional accessories are very necessary! Speaking of accessories…

Back to living in New England; the weather is unpredictable. It’s always smart to keep staples in your closets, such as leather jackets and comfortable booties.
