Happy Prime Day my friends!! I honestly look forward to this day like it’s Christmas part. 2! But before we get into the nitty-gritty, here’s the gag on Prime Day: Amazon Prime Day is in its third year, and it’s a sales palooza! It’s sorta like a Cyber-Monday. Amazon describes it as a “global shopping event, offering more deals than Black Friday, exclusively for Prime members.” With Amazon being such a powerhouse, I had to give the low down on the deals that I am indulging in this year.
But before we getting into my list, there are a few things you need to know:
- Although Amazon has AMAZING deals, you want to do a little bit of research on what products you are getting. If you’d like to know the history of an individual item, Tom’s Guide suggests these two sites to help you out:
CamelCamelCamel — a site that tracks the price history of many Amazon products — can help you spot fake deals from true price drops.
Fakespot–this site can assist in determining whether the Amazon user reviews for a given product are legit or fake.
- You have to sign up for Amazon Prime. Not necessarily to indulge in all of Amazon’s products, but to receive perks like FREE Two-Day Shipping for eligible purchases, unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows with Prime Video, and the ability to borrow books from the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library for $99 a year or $10.99 a month.
