Fashion to Figure Fridays

Happy Friday!

Hasn’t the weather been super “blogger-friendly”? On the East Coast, we’ve had 65 degree weather, lots of sun, and most importantly: NO SNOW!

This makes picture taking so much easier. Last week, I decided to take a stroll around the North End of Boston and snap a few flicks of the latest additions to my closet. Fashion to Figure has always been one of my “go-to’s” . There’s nothing like a store that carries a lot of options online as well as in-store. I wanted to get creative so I did a little nip and tuck and created an outfit that everyone thought was a two patterned dress!

Fashion-To-Figure

These are two pieces from Fashion to Figure. The top is a peplum top that a tucked away into the skirt. It was a bit of a risk because I knew it would make my waist look wider but that didn’t matter to me. Currently the top is sold out, but here’s a top that is very similar to it –> Robin Stripe Strapless Peplum.  I am wearing a size 3 (20-22) if it helps.

The skirt, Circle Midi Skirt, is a heavy weight skirt that widens as it goes down. I love that it’s heavy weight because reinforced material allows for a cleaner look. Plus, light weight skirts often usher in wedgies and wind-related accidents.  I can’t wait to style this skirt throughout the Spring and Summer. I am wearing a size 2 (size 18-20).

As for as accessorizing, I said that I would do a better job with mixing patterns. I chose to pair this outfit with leopard since it’s the new solid. My clutch from Fashion to Figure  has large leopard spots, so pairing it with my fringed leopard pumps from Ebay made it easy. I am wearing a size 11.

Honey, you are slaying it! I love that you utilized the stripes (since it seems to be making another wave in fashion) with the flowy midi skirt. I’ve actually never worn a midi skirt because I’m so short (5’2″) they just end up making me look shorter lol!

Love it!! You are so darling in these! Great idea to tuck the peplem! I’m a full figured gal, and while I love my figure now, I can’t pull of a peplum, so you go girl. And those shoes… yes, yes, and more yes.

Peplum is always my go to. But I always find myself trying something new with it.

      Thanks Haley!

I love the way you turned the peplum shirt and created a versitile look. It’s always nice to see someone wear the same things in different ways.

Love everything about this look. Mixing prints is my fave. It always looks put together yet still effortlessly chic to me. 10s across the board! Please check out my latest post and comment with your thoughts. Thanks I’d advance! ????

I like how you incorporated the cheetah print into the stripes- love pattern mixing and this is a prime example of why 🙂
