Happy Hump Day! Today, I am featuring a brand that I mentioned on the blog about two months ago. Dressbarn has always been a family favorite. I remember shopping with my mother on Saturdays, and every time we would past the plaza, Dressbarn would be our first stop. With Spring finally settling in and softer colors are back on the trend list, I had to head over to Dressbarn to find something chic!
While walking up and down the isles, I saw so many outfit options but I kind of knew what I was looking for. Lights + Darks with a dash of print (I know, super specific but necessary lol.). I found this beautiful blush colored blazer that was calling my name. I love blazers but many times the shoulders are too tight for my arms or the seams don’t flow well with my frame. I loved that this blazer wasn’t a button down. That means there’s no need to do the “single button fastened” look.
Now for my printed item! I didn’t want anything too loud because I loved the softness of the blush colored blazer. So to add a little subtle sexiness, I paired it with the Jones Studio Lace Tank . I loved the amount of stretch this tank had, but you couldn’t tell by the layering of the tank. Lastly, I had mix it in with a dark-colored bottom because I wanted all the attention to be focused at the top of the outfit. I saw a section filled with different colors and cuts of pants and was immediately drawn to the roz & ALI™ Plus Size Signature Fit Ankle Pants. I am a full size 22 and these pants fit perfectly! I was afraid that I was going to run into problems with the pants being too tight around hips/butt, but these pants were awesome! After trying on the full outfit, I was very impressed with the final product! How do you think I did?
Make sure you head over to Dressbarn to see their latest sales and offerings!
