With Spring already making a chilling appearance, Spring sales are already making their debuts. As much as I love following trends, I am an avid recycler of my beloved winter finds.
Two weeks ago, I posted three items that I scored for $60.00 at Eloquii! And when Natalie in the City showed me what she scored from the Eloquii sale, it was a no-brainer: Collab! When we compared the items we got, we saw that we had similar items…probably because we are each other’s spirit animal. So we thought we could highlight how to shift some of last season’s finds to the temperamental Spring season.
The dress I chose to go with was Eloquii’s Faux Bustier Wrap Dress. There’s an impressive duality to fitted dresses because you can pair it with a fit and flare skirt and use it as a top. 90% of the time, I always do this because I hate wearing shapewear lol. Although this is sold out, Eloquii never fails because their V-Neck off the Shoulder, Tweed Tie Neck Dress with Chiffon Sleeves, and Long Sleeve Off the Shoulder Twofer Top are JUST AS FAB! And instead of buying something supplemental, I decided to feature a past item and an item I didn’t get to show on the blog! My tried & true Dusk and Stunner Midi Skirt had to make another debut! There’s something about this skirt that brings out leopard maniac in me. So a little layering with my Caitlin Animal Wool Look Coat virtually sealed the deal for me.
Lastly, a little bit of accessorizing never hurt! Octoly sent me this beautiful necklace from Stella & Dot! Although it’s a pretty penny, I am IN LOVE WITH IT! Like you will see it a few times…like next week lol. Paired with my favorite clutch and pumps from Amazon Fashion, I was totes ready for this weird Winter/Spring Day!
And check out Natalie’s look!! Isn’t she a babe? I need to incorporate more denim into my wardrobe! Check out her blog to get her deets!!
As both a blogger and working professional, a white button up shirt is a go-to staple in my closet because I can dress it up or dress it down for multiple occasions. Lately, I have been dressing my white button ups with a black bow tie or a sharp blazer, but I wanted to try a different take on this all- time favorite piece. This long sleeve off the shoulder twofer top from Eloquii caught my eye. The blouse got me excited about the off the shoulder trend—which is circling back this spring and summer—and the top also gave me a new way to energize the white button up look. I’m wearing a size 16, and I would recommend ordering a size larger than your usual fit as the top can run a bit tight. However, I can’t wait to pair this piece with leather skirts, more ripped denim, and a sleek pair of black dress pants. – Natalie in the City
