While Boston is turning up for Red Sox and social media continues to have this insatiable thirst for the life of Kourtney Kardashian & Scott Disick, I’m taking advantage of every warm day that I can get. Usually this would entail some shorts or a cardigan and tank top, but I never think, “How can you make this a classy look?” It’s rare to catch me in a dressy outfit when it’s 70 degrees in March. I always go for the overkill because I’m in such a rush to feel the sun on my arms. -insert classy clothes here- I didn’t really get to work any sequins this winter because I didn’t know how to pair it.
One lazy Sunday, I decided to binge on 2008 series of 90210–yea I’m pretty sure I’m the only person who watches it but there’s some method to my madness, and I saw Naomi Clark wearing this beautiful peplum top and maxi sequin dress. I wish there were clear photos of this but I couldn’t really find it. As soon I saw her with the outfit, I knew exactly how I could duplicate this look.

I bought a peplum top from Eloquii in January but didn’t find time to wear it. Although they do not carry it anymore, there are about 10 similar, tops in their store RIGHT NOW! And though it took a weekend of watching 90210 for me to become inspired, I found the maxi skirt at Lane Bryant! It’s now on sale!
So tell me, do you think I nailed it? How would you feel if I did more style reenactments? TALK TO ME LOL! Thanks for reading everyone!

Can you believe it? Spring is almost here! Even though New England didn’t receive the memo yet, that’s not stopping me from seizing the sporadic days of great weather. Recapping over the spring and summer trends of 2016, I noticed there were lots of denim pieces, shades of blue and bold prints. Since I had already tried out Kohl’s
fitness selection earlier this year, I wanted to see what their style options were all about. I teamed up with Kohl’s
to bring you two looks that combine a few of the 2016 spring trends.
The first look I wanted to highlight was a denim look. As I was looking throughout the store, I noticed a few pictures of Jennifer Lopez wearing a pair of white pants. I fell in love with them, so I was praying that I could find them in a size 20. Literally three seconds later, I found them! The Jennifer Lopez Cuffed Jean Capri
Denim tops are timeless so when I found this one by SONOMA Good Life, I knew it would be easy to pair. To keep up with the shades of blue trend, my blouse from Apt. 9 Essentials truly gave the outfit a nice finish. While I was looking for a bold print, I came across this bag by Apt. 9 and immediately I knew it would work with the my outfit. Who knew I would be able to combine denim, shades of blue and bold prints all in one outfit? This outfit really looks nice for a casual day Friday at work or a nice date look.
Since I loved the pants so much, I was determined to find another way to style them. I found this beautiful top from the Jennifer Lopez Collection
. I didn’t need to accessorize much because the top pretty much made the outfit. This top can be worn with long linen pants, a pencil skirt, or whatever your heart desires. It’s pretty versatile.

In two weeks, I will be going to one of my closest friend’s wedding. At first, I was filled with so much excitement. I mean, why I wouldn’t want to see Mrs. Naomi Lane walk down the aisle!?! But then it hit me, I have to wear a wedding attire. Too many times I’ve worn the most uncomfortable wedding dresses known to humanity. Having to wear a tight girdle for 5 hours+ and attempting to eat and dance is torture!
Luckily, GCG me Designs understands the burden of having to wear an uncomfortable dress to a wedding. Last week, I wrote about GCG me’s Miranda Maxi Dress. I got so much positive feedback; I knew I had to get my wedding attire from there as well. I wanted to wear something that would only require a simple bra and boy shorts (I wasn’t kidding about being comfortable ha). Nothing screams comfortable like an elegant plus size maxi dress!
There were so many options to choose from, so I consulted Kavah from the Gentlemen’s Curb. At times, I have no clue as to how something will look on me and Kavah has an eye for what looks best on curves lol! So what do you think? Did he pick a winner? I think he did!! Also, a big shout out to mother nature for providing the wind! It really allowed the dress to show off it’s beauty! So who knows, I might end meeting the future Mr. Chanel-Faiteau in this dress (or maybe this blue dress got me feelin’ like Cinderella, when in fact I will be going to a bar in Jersey lol)
So I have a treat for you guys! If you use code CHARDLINE when purchasing from GCG me Designs, not only will you receive an extra 10% off (on already discounted items as well) you will receive FREE Express Shipping! It’s valid till end of April 2016 ! Please tag #PSBInspired if you buy a piece and you’ll be feature in my next post!! Hope you enjoyed this post!
Until next time,
