Polka and Plaid

Happy Monday All! I am sorry that I wasn’t able to give you updates last week! But I want to make up it up to you by providing you with the second installment of my gems from Yours Clothing. I know that everyone knows my big obsession with plaid and tartan but Yours Clothing only further perpetuated my obsession with this beautiful cape!

I am a huge fan or tartan and plaid, but the detachable fur collar is truly what made this cape stick out for me!

Also, adding this very comfortable midi skirt to the mix really made it a trendy look.  I loved the look so much, I had to get a few shots outdoors so you can see the vibrancy in the cape. Make sure you pay extra attention to their sizing charts because they run a little big.

A few of my friends asked me “Why are you mixing so many prints? You never mix prints!” Well there’s a first (or 15th) time for trying something.

Do you know what makes this an even happier Monday? They currently have sale going on over at Yours Clothing!

Styling with Adea: Everyday Luxury

Posted in Personal Style
on March 6, 2015

Happy Friday Everyone!!

Nothing makes me happier than having that one item in your closet that you can wear as a shirt, a dress, informal, to church etc! I want to introduce a brand that has many pieces in which you can do ALL OF THE ABOVE: Adea.

So what is Adea?

WELL-MADE BASICS THAT LAST.

For over a decade we’ve sourced fine, Italian-made fabrics to transform them into timeless silhouettes that contour to your body for a modern, feminine fit. Every woman needs a good wardrobe foundation as the building blocks for her own unique style. We believe that starts with versatile, comfortable basics – an everyday luxury. Made in Italy and the USA.

Now, I know that you may have already visited the site before you looked at my post pictures and you’re probably saying ” 100.00 for a layering top?” Well my response to this is simple: You get what you pay for! This is probably the only shirt I own, that stretched to the silhouette of my body, and didn’t even have to wear Spanx. It also smooths out any visible cellulite and so much versatility!

I decided to style my Long Sleeve Layering Top in two ways: Long Top/Dress and Love Sleeve shirt!

Pretty neat? When I first received the shirt I immediately thought I need a cardigan. But I actually challenge myself to get the best use out of it so a nice shirt/dress situation.

If there’s anything that you should know about me, I am against mini skirts (although I do venture from time to time out of curiosity). But this top sealed the deal for me!

Once I paired it with my super chic vest from Dia&Co (trust me, you’ll be seeing this baby again) and my colorful clutch from Bold statement Boutique, I felt ready to go out with the girls or a date…(don’t I miss going on those lol).
Now, if you are like me ( likes to turn up on Saturday, but give thanks to God the next for giving you the strength in your knees to keep up on the dance floor) this outfit was an easy transition:

I hope to take time to look at Adea! There’s a lot of great quality products on their site that are not only durable, they return back to their shape after 5 washes or so and shrinks/grows with you!!
Have a great weekend,
Chardline.

Happy Tuesday All!

I want to introduce a brand to you that I’ve grown to love over the past few months: Pinkclubwear. They have a plethora of fast fashion garments for great prices! Today, I want show off one of three pieces that I received!

Does anyone remember my plaid and tartan obsession? Well, PinkClubwear brought it back!

I’ve never had a full plaid ANYTHING!! Pairing it with my vest from Ashley Stewart really helped bring versatility to the outfit. I went from chill day to date night in seconds!

No better way to top it off than pairing the whole outfit with some silver.
My favorite Kardashian hat with the silver trimmings and my booties from JustFab were the perfect accessories!
